Staff were very helpful. Room was basic but nice and quiet. Breakfast was fairly good: better than the other two hotels I experienced this trip. Location was within moderate walking distance of town center, by a pleasant stroll.

We were very disappointed this time with the state of the bathroom. It smelt of urine and had not been cleaned properly. My wife had to purchase a pair of rubber gloves and St Marc Javel. There was a lack of supervision by hotel management of the cleaners. This is our first such experience of such poor hygiene after visiting France for many years and always found hotels to be clean.

The location here is fantastic! It's super close to a lovely port 🌊 with tons of restaurants to choose from. There's also a nice park nearby, and plenty of bars and restaurants around.

We had a good stay for our 11 day holiday.
Hotel's location was comfortable, to the old town along the river. Room was a nice size and well-maintained with central heating, a multi-channel TV and a writing table. All the staff were really helpful and attentive.

Our room at the back of the hotel looked out onto the grounds so it was quiet. There was plenty of space and it was very clean. It is away from the crowds but not too far from the beach and we liked Auray and especially the port.

Staff were helpful, room and bathroom were clean, breakfast was quite good - good selection, and there was an informal and relaxed atmosphere. Good car parking facility.
The hotel - and therefore all public facilities - closed at 9.0 p.m - e.g. no bar open after that time. The room was a bit smaller than we had expected, but the bathroom was a reasonable size. It was a bit more of a walk to the restaurants than we had expected.

Our double room was comfortable and quiet and the bed had a good mattress, the staff was friendly; good breakfast buffet, calm environment, good location for trips by car to Côte Sauvage, Carnac, Vannes, etc.

The owners were very kind and helpful and were always very pleasant indeed. The location was great, just 15 minutes walk from the Port of St Goustan which was beautiful with fine places to eat. Very centrally situated for exploring Brittany and Morbihan in particular; easy to find off the motorway without being noisy. Reasonably inexpensive.
The room was small and this was made worse by a sloping ceiling, this combined with the very subdued lighting made the room very dark and somewhat claustrophobic. That said our friends who came with us had a much larger brighter room (with the help of windows as opposed to their also subdued lighting), so perhaps we were just unlucky!
